Trusts and Foundations
We have benefited greatly over many years from the support of a wide variety of trusts and foundations. A grant total in excess of £1m over the past five years has been a vital component in helping Church Army to establish new projects throughout the British Isles.
Potential for further expanding our impact is huge, particularly through emerging Centres of Mission (in partnership with Dioceses), but we are aware of the need to develop new partnerships with trusts and foundations. When trustees engage with our evangelists and staff members, then our vision for transformed lives becomes a reality and projects are established with urgency.
The difference that an annual grant can make to the people we interact with on a weekly basis, is immense. Your support of our work will enable us to share practical help, encouragement and hope with more children and adults in need.
Church Army has a remarkably diverse portfolio of projects, which allows you to choose geographical location or area of work to offer support, or allows us to choose where we consider the need greatest.
We work with a diverse range of groups: young people with experience of self-harm; lonely and isolated older people; vulnerable women involved as sex workers; disadvantaged young people; ex-offenders; adult’s health and well-being; children and families; schools work; homeless young people and adults; community work and outreach on housing estates; night time street work.
If you are a Trustee, and you like our approach to the many social and economic problems that beset our communities, why not contact me to learn how you can join with us in helping to bring about transformation. We can arrange visits to any of our projects, which will convince you that we reach the people in greatest need of your help.
