RESEARCH ASSISTANT (PART TIME)

Location     Wilson Carlile Centre, Sheffield
 
Details It is an exciting time to be part of our Research Unit, Church Army's research team, following their recent publication "A day of small things".  So Church Army is delighted to provide a unique opportunity for someone to join our research team, to share in and support the work of our researchers.

This post is ideal for someone wanting to work part time (0.5) with some experience of research but an enthusiasm for the work of research and the difference it can make, who is willing to learn and develop skills in this field. 

You will play an active role in the team by conducting research yourself, but also supporting other researchers in their work. You will therefore, get experience in the breadth of our work, but be able to contribute to our findings and reports. You should be someone who demonstrates excellent team working skills and communication skills, with a particular confidence in making cold phone calls. You will also be a member of the National Office Team based at WCC and play an active role in the life and community of the team here. 

The team has a strong ethos and all members of the team are expected to live out the teams values.  Therefore there is an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 for the post holder to be a Christian with an active faith in Jesus.

Salary £21,934 per annum, pro rata
