In Celebration

wedding ringsDo you have a special occasion coming up? Maybe a wedding, a big birthday, an anniversary, a christening or retirement.

Making a donation to Church Army is an amazing alternative gift for all types of celebrations.

Asking for donations to Church Army instead of presents is an inspiring way for family and friends, to come together, to mark your special occasion and at the same time help us to help the most broken, hurting and marginalised in our society, to bring God’s transforming love and hope.

How can you make a gift in celebration?

  • You can set up a JustGiving page, which you can personalise with photographs, videos, stories and memories, which you can then share with family and friends.
  • Make a one off donation
  • Send your donation in the post, by cheque, to Church Army, Wilson Carlile Centre, 50 Cavendish Street, Sheffield, S3 7RZ.
  • Have a Church Army collection box at your celebration.
  • We can send you our giving envelopes to give out at your celebration, allowing your family and friends to make a private donation and where appropriate also allowing us to collect Gift Aid – increasing the gift by 25% at no cost to the donor.
  • Invite your guests to buy your gifts through the Give as you Live scheme, allowing a sum to be donated to us.
  • Organise some fundraising for us at your celebration.
Whichever way you decide to help you will be making a real difference to the work we do and the lives of the people we work with. Thank you!
