Details The role of Fundraising Officer is key to ensuring that we have the resources and support in place to sustain our frontline work, and is an exciting opportunity to share in the life and work of Church Army. 

We are looking for someone who is:
  • Enthusiastic about the work of Church Army
  • Able to work with people unconditionally
  • A collaborative team player 
  • Experienced in events and/or relationship fundraising

This role is ideal for someone with an active Christian faith excited about evangelism, able to build good relationships with individuals and churches and communicate clearly the vision and work of Church Army. You will have strong communication skills and organisational skills to be able to relate to people of all walks of life. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and able to inspire supporters to fund, and pray for, exciting and innovative work undertaken by Church Army. You will be expected to be an active participant in the prayer life of the Marketing Team, as well as supporting colleagues in their work and contributing to team-wide initiatives. 
Salary             £20-22,000 per annum
Hours 37.5 per week. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday with some evening and weekend work required on occasion.
Pension Church Army is an auto enrolment employer. You will be assessed under auto enrolment legislation and if eligible for pension contributions, you will be enrolled into a qualifying scheme and minimum pension contributions will be made by the employer.
Annual Leave 25 days per year plus bank holidays (33 days in total)
DBS Requirement
A DBS is not required for this role. All staff are expected to read and comply with Church Army’s Safer Ministry Policy.
Occupational Requirement
This post is subject to an Occupational Requirement under the provisions made in the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder has an active faith in Jesus, demonstrated by an involvement in a local church and agreement with the vision and values of Church Army.
