CHURCH ARMY's MArYLEBONE PROJECT JOINS THE LONDON HOMELESS COLLECTIVE
In a push to combat homelessness in London, the Evening Standard has launched a campaign with the London Homeless Collective - a group of 23 charities including Church Army, which aims to beat homeless within two years.
At the moment there is no 24/7 women-only homeless drop-in in central London. One of the main things the Evening Standard's appeal aims to allow the Marylebone Project's day drop-in from four to 24 hours a day. Women are particularly vulnerable on the streets and we want women to always have somewhere they can go and access the support they require at any time of the day or night.
