volunteer facilitator (Maternity Cover)

Location     Wilson Carlile Centre, Sheffield

Details All that we do is only possible because of the amazing generosity and commitment of our volunteers, and our desire is to see volunteers fully integrated into the life and community of Church Army nationally as well as locally. Over the last year, the Volunteer Facilitator has been exploring volunteering within Church Army. As volunteers are spread widely across the UK and Ireland and involved in a wide variety of different ways, a challenge of this role is to identify processes that are appropriate for all of our volunteers. This role therefore suits someone who can adapt easily, is ready to try new things, and will enjoy establishing new practice and groundwork in a varied role.

The successful candidate will understand the importance of volunteers, either from their own experience or from a similar role, and be passionate about the work of Church Army; able to work with people unconditionally, and from all walks of life. We are looking for someone who is an encourager, able to identify people's contributions and have excellent people & interpersonal skills.
