The Wilson Carlile Centre library is a quiet space with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It's an excellent resource for the study of evangelism and the scope of the library is wide ranging. This is the most significant theological library in South Yorkshire, containing over 15,000 volumes.
Alongside books on theology and mission are collections relating to diverse areas including world religions, ethics, feminist theology, fresh expressions of church, lifelong learning and ministry among children, young people, older people and the homeless.
Our library is also open to those looking for a tranquil place to work, away from the distractions of everyday life. Books can be used for reference purposes free of charge. And annual membership with borrowing rights is available for just £20.
If you'd like a residential sabbatical or are undertaking private study, the library can be used in conjunction with our accommodation.
The library catalogue is available online where library members can also access their personal records, renew their books and make reservations.
Feel free to contact our Librarian, Liz Bentley, if you have any questions.
